Method 1 for resetting after refilling toner to the cartridge:
1. Open the clip indicated by the arrow:
2. Remove the side cover of the left gear end:
3. Remove the gear shown in the figure:
4. Install the gear indicated by the arrow as shown in the figure below:
5. The correct installation position of the reset gear for resetting is shown in the arrow direction, as shown in the figure below:
6. Install the gear end cover on the left end and see the correct reset gear position indicated by the arrow:
Method 2 for resetting toner cartridge after refilling toner:
1. Open the front cover of the printer.
2. Press and hold the “OK” button for about 5 seconds until the screen displays “Replace the toner cartridge? Yes/No” (at this time, it will prompt whether to replace the toner cartridge, we don’t need to pay attention).
3. Press the “Start” button (the screen is bright but blank).
4. Press the “+” button [up arrow] (press +1 until the number becomes “11”).
5. Press the OK button (the screen displays “Accept”).
6. Close the front cover of the printer, the toner cartridge is reset and it can be used normally.
Resetting the drum unit:
Open the front cover of the printer.
Press and hold the “OK” button for about 5 seconds until the screen displays “Replace the Drum Unit? Yes/No.”
Select “Yes” to accept. Then, drum unit is reset.
