How to skip cartridge calibration on HP all-in-one inkjet printers
Except for the HP Officejet 725 all-in-one machine, most all-in-one machines will require cartridge calibration after installing a new cartridge to ensure print quality.
For models without LCD screens, such as the HP PSC 1118, 1218 and other all-in-one machines, a piece of paper with color stripes will be automatically printed after replacing the cartridge, and then it needs to be manually placed on the glass plate for scanning to facilitate cartridge calibration.
For models with LCD screens, such as the HP Officejet 4255/4256 and other all-in-one machines, after replacing the cartridge, the LCD screen will prompt “Press enter/OK to align cartridge”.
After installing a new cartridge, it is best to complete the cartridge calibration. This can effectively prevent poor printing results, broken lines, and vertical lines from being straight.
If the cartridge calibration is not completed, many functions of the all-in-one machine cannot be used, such as scanning, copying, faxing, etc. Therefore, we have summarized all the methods for skipping cartridge calibration on HP inkjet all-in-one machines.
