Why is my cartridge not working after refill?
There are four possible reasons why the print is blank after the toner cartridge is refilled with toner:
01. The toner cartridge is not installed in place
Solution:
After filling the toner, the pins on both sides of the toner cartridge are not installed properly during the installation process, which will cause the toner cartridge to not be fully installed. We take out the toner cartridge from the printer, check the assembly of the toner cartridge in detail, and then reinstall it to the printer for a print test.
02. The protective cover of the toner cartridge not open
Solution:
Take out the toner cartridge and use your hand to move the protective cover above the OPC drum to see if it is flexible. If it is not flexible, please reassemble it.
03. The ground wire function of the OPC drum fails
Solution:
This is caused by the fall-off of the conductive pins on both sides of the OPC drum, or too much oil on the pins. We need to see if the pins on both sides of the OPC drum fall out. If so, directly reset the pins by hand and clean the oil on the pins and the conductive sheet inside the OPC drum.
04. The magnetic roller of the toner cartridge fails to charge or has poor contact
Solution:
Generally, it is because the conductive part is not installed properly, so just take it out and reinstall it, and focus on checking the conductive sheets in various places.
