Xerox Copier Error Code Summary and Solutions

Xerox printers occasionally report errors. Based on years of experience, KBT technicians have compiled the common error codes and solutions for Xerox IV machines as follows:

092-312
Fault content:
1. Poor rotation of the Yellow developer
2. Toner inside the Yellow developer is clogged
3. Using inferior toner, poor magnetism, consuming more carriers to absorb toner, resulting in no carrier in the developer

Solution:
Enter the maintenance mode, please return the value of NVM[752-346] (ATC Fail [Y]) or NVM[752-350] (ATC Fail [Y]) to [0].

092-313
Fault content:
1. Poor rotation of the Magenta developer
2. Toner inside the Magenta developer is clogged
3. Using inferior toner, poor magnetism, consuming more carriers to absorb toner, resulting in no carrier in the developer

Solution:
Enter the maintenance mode, please return the value of NVM[752-347] (ATC Fail [M]) or NVM[752-351] (ATC Fail [M]) to [0].

092-314
Fault content:
1. Poor rotation of Cyan developer
2. Clogged toner inside Cyan developer
3. Poor quality toner is used, poor magnetism, more carrier is consumed to absorb toner, resulting in no carrier in the developer

Solution:
Enter maintenance mode, please return the value of NVM[752-348] (ATC Fail [C]) or NVM[752-352] (ATC Fail [C]) to [0].

092-315
Fault content:
1. Poor rotation of Black developer
2. Clogged toner inside Black developer
3. Poor quality toner is used, poor magnetism, more carrier is consumed to absorb toner, resulting in no carrier in the developer

Solution:
Enter maintenance mode, please return the value of NVM[752-349] (ATC Fail [K]) or NVM[752-353] (ATC Fail [K]) to [0].

092-651
Fault content:
The ADC sensor reading value of the density reference color block is abnormal, and the toner density is abnormal. Check whether the detector of the ADC sensor is dirty and whether there is foreign matter attached to the detector.

Solution:
Enter the maintenance mode and rewrite NVM[760-240] to [1].

092-657
Fault content:
1. The toner inside the toner cartridge (Y) is blocked.
2. The toner from the toner cartridge (Y) to the developer (Y) is blocked.
3. The toner inside the developer (Y) is blocked.

Solution:
Check whether the developer and toner cartridge gears can rotate and whether there is any solidified material blocking the gear from working.

092-658
Fault content:
1. The toner inside the toner cartridge (M) is blocked.
2. The toner from the toner cartridge (M) to the developer (M) is blocked.
3. The toner inside the developer (M) is blocked.

Solution:
Check the developer and the toner cartridge gears to see if they can rotate and if there is any condensate blocking the gears.

092-659
Fault content:
1. The toner inside the toner cartridge (C) is blocked.
2. The toner from the toner cartridge (C) to the developer (C) is blocked.
3. The toner inside the developer (C) is blocked.

Solution:
Check the developer and the toner cartridge gears to see if they can rotate and if there is any condensate blocking the gears.

092-660
Fault content:
1. The toner inside the toner cartridge (K) is blocked.
2. The toner from the toner cartridge (K) to the developer (K) is blocked.
3. The toner inside the developer (K) is blocked.

Solution:
Check the developer and the toner cartridge gears to see if they can rotate and if there is any condensate blocking the gears.

092-661 (092-662 as above)
Fault content:
The measured values of the temperature and humidity sensors are outside the specified range.

Solution: Check whether the detectors of the temperature and humidity sensors are dirty, and whether foreign matter is attached to the detectors. Enter the maintenance mode and rewrite NVM [760-240] to [1].

093-314
Fault content:
The Yellow toner cartridge still has a small amount of toner available, and the chip is almost used up, resulting in an error.

Solution:
Replace the Yellow toner cartridge chip and observe whether the toner cartridge has a problem with toner discharge.

093-315
Fault content:
The Magenta toner cartridge still has a small amount of toner available, and the chip is almost used up, resulting in an error.

Solution:
Replace the Magenta toner cartridge chip and observe whether the toner cartridge has a problem with toner discharge.

093-316
Fault content:
The Cyan toner cartridge still has a small amount of toner available, and the chip is almost used up, resulting in an error.

Solution:
Replace the Cyan toner cartridge chip and observe whether the toner cartridge has a problem with toner discharge.

093-317
Fault content:
There is still a small amount of toner available in the Black toner cartridge, and the chip is almost used up, resulting in an error.

Solution:
Replace the Black toner cartridge chip and observe whether the toner cartridge has difficulty in discharging toner.

093-400
Fault content:
The Yellow toner cartridge is approaching the replacement period.

Solution:
Replace the Yellow toner cartridge if necessary.

093-423
Fault content:
The Magenta toner cartridge is approaching the replacement period.

Solution:
Replace the Magenta toner cartridge if necessary.

093-424
Fault content:
The Cyan toner cartridge is approaching the replacement period.

Solution:
Replace the Cyan toner cartridge if necessary.

Fault content:
