In our daily use of printer toner cartridges, we will encounter various problems. Today we summarize 6 common problems with toner cartridges and their solutions as below:
Defect 1: Regular black blocks and black spots (as shown below)
Problem: There are regular black blocks on the manuscript (see the figure above).
Cause:
1. There are impurities or glue on the Primary Charge Roller.
2. The primary charging roller is damaged.
Solution:
1. Clean the charging roller
2. Replace
Defect 2: Regular blurred and blank handwriting
Problem: The overall printed manuscript is blurred.
Cause:
1. The transfer roller is dirty or aged.
2. The doctor blade is bad.
3. The magnetic roller is severely worn or other accessories are worn.
Solution:
1. Clean or replace the transfer roller.
2. Replace the doctor blade.
3. Replace the magnetic roller or toner cartridge.
Defect 3: Powder scattering
Problem: Powder scattering (irregular vertical black spots appear on the printed manuscript)
Cause: The blade of the waste toner bin or the toner bin is wrinkled or deformed.
Solution: Correct the blade or replace it.
Defect 4: Vertical Missing Print
Problem: Vertical missing print (printed product cannot be printed vertically).
Cause:
1. The laser is partially blocked or there is foreign matter in the magnetic roller sleeve.
2. The reflector is dirty or the transfer assembly is defective.
Solution:
1. Check the protective cover refraction rod or clean the magnetic roller sleeve.
2. Clean the reflector.
Defect 5: Horizontal Missing Print
Problem: Horizontal missing white stripes (printed product cannot be printed horizontally).
Cause:
1. The photosensitive drum coating or drum gear is defective.
2. The magnetic roller runout is too high.
Solution:
1. Replace the OPC drum.
2. Check and clean the magnetic roller sleeve or replace the small size magnetic roller sleeve.
Defect 6: Vertical Stripes
Problem: Vertical stripes (vertical continuous or intermittent stripes appear on the printed product).
Cause:
1. The toner on the doctor blade sticks to the blade.
2. The rubber strip of the doctor blade is broken or aged.
Solutions:
1. The doctor blade is made of steel and can be disassembled for cleaning;
2. The doctor blade is made of rubber and needs to be replaced
