For the convenience of users, here are the steps of copying:

1. Preheating

Office equipment generally has a sleep function, so before you copy, you should let the equipment preheat, and you can warm up the device by pressing any key on the device.

2. Check the original

The material to be copied should be of high contrast. At the same time, it should be noted that there should be no hard objects such as staples and pins on the material.

3. Arrange the material

Roughly check the size, texture, color, handwriting tone, binding method, number of sheets, and whether there are pictures and other originals that need to change the exposure. After understanding these, lay the material flat.

4. Check the machine status

It takes a certain amount of time for the machine to preheat or start up, especially for professional copiers or color all-in-one machines. Generally, you can know whether the machine has been preheated or started up by listening to the sound, and the status display lights on the operation panel will return to normal.

5. Place the original

There are generally indicator marks or scale plate indicators on the flat glass. Refer to these instructions to put the manuscript in reverse order, so that the order of the copies will be correct. Otherwise, you need to manually turn the pages and reverse them after copying.

6. Set the number of copies

Press the number keys or arrow keys to set the number of copies. If the setting is wrong, press the “C” key to cancel the setting and reset it.

7. Zoom the copy size

If you need to enlarge or reduce, you can adjust it through the zoom button.

8. Check whether there is paper shortage

Check whether there is paper in the corresponding paper box according to the size of the material, otherwise you cannot continue to copy if there is paper shortage.

9. Set the copy color

Generally, the copy machine can choose “black and white” or “color”.

10. Adjust the copy density

Generally, there is no need to adjust the density. If the original paper is darker, such as newspapers, the copy density should be lighter. If the handwriting is light and not very clear, the density should be darker, and when copying pictures, the density should generally be adjusted.

11. Start copying

Finally, press the copy key.

Through the above steps, I believe you can easily master how to use a photocopier.
